The National Computer Center through its flagship project, “Jumpstarting Electronic Governance in Local Government Units,” or the eLGU Project, is set to launch the conduct of the 2005 LGU Website Contest.
As such, the contest is aimed to encourage LGUs to establish and maintain an official site in the World Wide Web. Likewise, the contest is meant to further inspire other LGUs to continue to enhance their sites and improve the delivery of online services to the public.
The LGU Website Contest is open to all local government units nationwide with an official LGU website. The contest consists of two categories, namely : NCC Content Management System (CMS) Based and Non-CMS or Independent.
