The Animation Council of the Philippines is a non-stock and non-profit organization whose member companies specialize mainly in, but not limited to, either 2D or 3D animation. It is an organization recognized and supported by the Philippine government.
The organization aims to promote the Animation Industry globally with the intention of creating an identity for the Philippines to be considered amongst the preferred countries that service the animation industry.

Programs & Projects:

FLAGSHIP PROJECT
Animahenasyonis an annual Filipino animation festival that features the different animation works of both aspiring and professional animators in the country through a competition. Also part of the festival is the animation master classes, animation congress, and exhibits of the works of seasoned animators and lifetime achievement awardees. *Animahenasyon* serves as a venue for Filipino animators to present their world-class ideas, to open doors of opportunities, and a chance for them to meet and be inspired by the finest names in the industry.

Objectives:
|
TRAINING PROGRAMS
One of ACPI's primary functions is providing various training programs
across the country. This is done in cooperation with ACPI member companies,
private and public educational institutions, and various government
agencies. Training offerings range from grassroots introductory workshops
for children to advanced trainer's training.
- Curriculum development and consultancy for 2D animation program
- Curriculum development and consultancy for 3D animation program
- Technical advising for software and hardware requirements
- Project/production management in 2D/3D/Flash animation
SERVICES
- Philippine animation services include *full 2D and 3D animation* from pre- to post-production services.
- Deployment of instructors/ industry experts for special workshops in visual
art and animation
- Web design, graphic and art design, mobile applications, 3D gaming both for
consoles and PC platforms, interactive games and e-Learning modules that
require animation and animation training.
- Pre-production services: storyboard, character and background design, sound-cut, sound-reading, ex-sheet slugging, voice-over, dubbing, and concept art
- Production services: 2D, 3D, Flash, e-learning, web and game animation services, line testing,
flash library, layout, clean-up and in-betweens, digital ink and paint
applications, digital backgrounds, scanning and digital ex-sheets,
modelling, rendering, texture and lighting, architectural visualization,
vehicles, 3D environment, commercials, AVPs, educational CDs
- Post-production services: (original) musical scoring and sound effects, sound design, recording, compositing and editing, output to CD, DVD, HD,
PAL, BETA SP, special effects, and visual effects, subtitling
- As an organized body, ACPI aims to promote the Filipino talent both locally and internationally. With the cooperation of its members as well as the Philippine government, it is envisioned that the member studios will be considered competitive both creatively and technologically.
