GISP

The Government Information Systems Plan (GISP) or Philippine Government Online, envisions an electronic bureaucracy that is widely and readily accessible to the Filipino people. It is a master plan that harnesses the potentials of information and communications technology (ICT) for good governance, and promotes transparency and accountability in government operations and transactions

The GISP was prepared in cooperation and close consultation with various government agencies, the private sector, civil society, media, the academe, the ICT community, and other stakeholders. It was approved and adopted on July 12, 2000 with the issuance of Executive Order No. 265.
