Under its legal mandate, the National Computer Center is responsible for the development, dissemination and interpretation of the policies and guidelines for ICT applications, procurement and operations.

NCC is also mandated to formulate policies and standards and provide policy guidelines for the development, direction and control of computer technology as a national resource.
